May I introduce myself
My name is Tanja.
I was born into a nature loving family of travellers. We have been travelling all over the World for 10 years. From a very young age I felt deeply devoted to the everything of nature. It was there that I discovered hiking as a powerful practice of meditation and a way to connect with nature and yourself.
Since 2000 I am practicing Iyengar yoga. A kind of yoga which is without forcing and bring you awareness inside.
Ayurveda:
Since 2010 I started visiting Ayurvedic clinics in India and Sri Lanka and started my study at the European Institute for Scientific Research on Ayurveda (EISRA) at The Hague.
Now a days I am working at Ayurvedic Clinics in India or Sri Lanka during the winter season. My both sons are grown up and left my house so I started realising my own Ayurvedic clinic at my beautiful house at the border of the 1000 Ha. National Park “Voornes Duin” were I am also a qualified guide and investigates nature life.
This is where I organise yoga and Ayurveda retreats and run a B&B.
It’s wonderful place within those wonderful dunes, woods and sea where yoga and hiking can be practiced, following delicious healthy Ayurvedic meals and where simple practices can be learned to develop a more mindful way of life. Ayurvedic massages to balance the body and mind will complete these weekends.
Please also contact me for daily consultations, for massages, food-and lifestyle, and counselling. I am specialized in breathing techniques.
Prana is life.
The way of breathing is inseparably linked with our spiritual and physical conditions. Fortunately we are able to control our muscles of our abdomen. By which we are able to start to get control of our breathing and our life and feelings.
